Chic Chevron at Crofton Park House

Dad of a 6 year old and miniature dachshund Ryan found his dream wood flooring on Instagram. With a love for interior style inspired by history and travelling, Haze Oak chevron is the perfect complement to his eclectic home. Ryan tells us more…

We bought our house in Crofton Park, London 7 years ago with lots of plans to renovate. Work started in the loft where we added two extra bedrooms and an en-suite. Since then we’ve redone the family bathroom and added a kitchen extension – the biggest space in our house, which is now home to our Woodpecker floor.

Our home is very eclectic and we call our style Bobo which is short for bohemian bourgeois. Everywhere there are antiques from different eras and art that complements our style. Every interior choice is very much influenced by our travels around Europe.

We found Woodpecker on Instagram where we saw an impressive fit of Haze Oak in another home in Brockley (@brockleyhouse) and noticed it had been arranged by local Woodpecker retailer Lordship Flooring.

Keen to see samples of Haze, we visited a nearby branch of Lordship Flooring. When we first saw the flooring we instantly fell in love. It complemented our style so well! I really liked the subtlety of the colours as we wanted to stray away from anything too dark or too ‘Oak’ in colour.

Happy to support a local business, we arranged the purchase and the fitting through Lordship, finding the staff very helpful.

The flooring fit took around 2-3 days with Haze Oak running throughout our kitchen and hallway for beautiful consistency.

I think the finished result is absolutely fantastic and with running symmetry, it really complements the contours of the space.

Light chevron flooring is beautifully paired with a colourful kitchen and exciting interior design in this unique home. Discover more about Haze Oak and be inspired by the many more designs in our parquet flooring collection.
