Dark interior takes centre-stage in this exquisite home. From floors to walls and furnishings too, there’s an array of rich chocolatey tones in every room.  

Living Room

With floods of natural light and high vault ceiling, there is a spacious yet inviting feel to the living room. The addition of modern accessories and subtle splash of colour against the otherwise neutral colour palette creates a strong sense of luxury.  

Texture, line and shape are key features of this interior – the curve of the lighting to the statement beams and striking herringbone pattern complement the contemporary style perfectly. And the splash of greenery and soft lighting further enhances the welcoming vibe. 

Kitchen

Our Goodrich Charred Oak herringbone continues throughout the downstairs area, into the kitchen. Here, you can see how the array of rich tones flows throughout the floor, creating dimension and enhancing the striking effect of the herringbone pattern. It truly is a statement floor to be admired. 

The designer has chosen a herringbone pattern with a border – borders are a great touch to emphasise a room shape and look. They also enhance the pattern and when combined with a strip inlay – brass or gold perhaps, the finished effect is very striking. 

Hallway

Continuing into the hallway, the beauty of the parquet shines through at every angle. One of our favourite features of this home, the hallway exudes style with no detail forgotten about.  

The wall design with a combination of dark panelling, intricate gold wallpaper and ornate coving is truly exquisite – it not only enhances the spacious feel but it gives the hallway a lease of life and an identify of its own.  

Hallways are most often forgotten about in terms of interior design as they’re just used as access from one room to another. However the love and care which has been so clearly put into this design is very evident and the hallway instantly becomes a stylish space, equally admired with every other room in the home.  

Chill Out Area

This may be one of our favourite rooms – the light adorned ceiling is out of this world.
