Exciting Changes At Woodpecker

We warmly welcome our new Managing Director – Justin Thomas. Previously Chief Operations Officer, Justin has been responsible for growing the operations over the last 5 years. Navigating supply chain and many operational challenges during this time has provided a strong understanding of the business and an excellent foundation for his new role.

Former managing Director, Darwyn Ker, now steps into the CEO role.

It is easy in a growing business to lose sight of what got us to this stage ad we never intend for it to be this way. As we say here at Woodpecker “however big we grow, always remember our roots”

Justin as been responsible for the operations, logistics ad finance and has built a strong foundation for growth leading an extensive investment last year into technology with teir1 systems to underpin the business processes and deliver excellence as we scale.

Justin and I have worked closely together for 5 years and will continue to do so. I am very confident that he will be very successful taking the role of Managing Director and am excited to be moving into the role of CEO spending time with our key stakeholders and customers to lead the next level of growth.” Darwyn Ker, CEO.

The journey since it started in 1973 has been marked by strong family values. Over the last 5 years we have mnore than doubled in size, extending our operations internationally into the USA. Despite this growth, these deep-rooted values have and will continue to define who we are and how we operate.
