Our Story

A man of vision, George Knowles Snr. saw the growing popularity of what “out-of-town” retail developments were offering in America back in 1974.  He converted a disused mill in Tillicoultry into the largest and most diverse furniture showroom in Scotland.  We’ve been travelling the globe for 35 years, building relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to guarantee that we consistently deliver an outstanding range of flooring and furniture.

Besides our flagship Tillicoultry store, we’ve opened up branches across the country to make our flooring and homeware services more accessible for all.  We’re proud of our unique shopping experience and when it comes to flooring, we can assure you we have what it takes to find you your perfect floor to suit your style, room and budget.
